The team have worked hard to achieve the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
The ISO 9000 standards give organisations an opportunity to increase value of activities and improve performance continually, by focusing on major processes. The standards place great emphasis on aligning management systems closer to the processes of organisations and on continual improvement. As a result, they direct users to the achievement of business results, including the satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders and interested parties.
To achieve certification, a rigorous GAP analysis was completed against the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standards to determine where existing quality management systems failed to address the applicable standard requirements. On completion of this GAP analysis additional processes were developed and implemented to ensure compliance.
In September 2007 we achieved the OHSAS 18001:1999 Accreditation, for the supply of Operations, Maintenance and Project Support to the Offshore Petrochemical Industry. This certifies that EPIC International has attained the recognised International Standards for Occupational Health & Safety, with relevant management systems, standards and guidelines in place.
We are also registered with Achilles and FPAL (First Point Assessment Ltd), the oil and gas supply chain database for the UK and Netherlands. FPAL is a key tool for purchasing and procurement departments in the industry providing security in the knowledge that suppliers are maintaining standards in terms of quality, delivery and cost. Registration is only granted on successful completion of a comprehensive capability assessment. Ongoing performance feedback and benchmarking continually verifies that EPIC International are completing projects to the highest possible standards.
EPIC International gained the ISO 14001 Environmental Accreditation in October 2007.
